Region 3 at ANA World’s Fair of Money – 25-29 Aug 2026

Region 3 will have a meeting at the World’s Fair of Money on:

Thursday August 27^th from 1:00-2:00 in room 334 at the David Lawrence Convention Center

Agenda:

• We will discuss EAC 2026-Charlotte and the next convention EAC 2027-Madison WI
• We will also have a presentation from Ted Burge on his research project of 1793 and 1794 edge lettering.

Plus, Region 3 will be at table 1934 on the Bourse Floor during the show.

We will provide Ted table space at the EAC floor table both before and after the meeting to photograph 1793 and 1794 edge lettering. So please bring as many coins to the show on Thursday to contribute to this research. Ted will photograph and catalogue your coins while you watch. We encourage any dealers who would like to participate, to have coins available to photograph. We will acknowledge all the dealers who participate in this project.

EAC Member Research Request – Edge Lettering Research – 1793 and 1794 large cents

Request for help at the ANA’s Money Expo 2026 in Pittsburgh to collect 1793 and 1794 edge lettering images for research in die states and emission order.

Needed:

1. Members to bring in coins to add to the research data set for EAC members.
2. Scheduling to have a minute with each coin with the owner there to use a special camera rig.
3. And most important, space on table (camera stand about the foot print of a laptop and a laptop), plus power for a light.  This set-up can sit safely on top of a glass coin case typical for Numismatic shows.  A camera light will need a power cord.
