New 94 NC11 found at Baltimore show
Just wanted to post a note about the new coin Jim Young found at the Baltimore show. I saw it today while tooling around on ebay, looks like Greg Hannigan has it for sale:
Just goes to show there are still great finds out there!
Hi Boys --- well here we go --- another NC-11. This is now the fifth known NC-11 and likely third finest.
Didn't Jim find the former 3rd finest. And his brother found the BS1 coin.
I need to sit closer to those guys!!!!!
Congrats Jim. --- Chuck
What is the unique feature that makes it an NC-11?
The 74 NC-11 has the obverse of S-25 and the reverse of S-32 (early state before the die cracks). I think the easy attribution is the wide date 17 94 for the obverse.
