Region 1 Meeting?

Can anyone remember a region 1 meeting? I watch Pennywise and Region 8 for announcements and reports of meetings, but have seen none since Joel Spingarn was the representative. I've emailed the current rep, but was told there is no interest in meeting. Any ideas?

I recommend that you take the lead and have that meeting! Pick a time and place, such as a well attended coin show, and do it. I don't think anyone would object to you using PW, R8 or this new "CN" as a promotional platform.
I put on many of what I called "Gatherings" here in the Sacramento area years before I was ever drafted into being an officer. At the time there were several of us who wanted to have meetings but our regular R7 meetings were always held at a coin show many hundreds of miles away in southern CA.
I placed adds in PW and had quite a positive responce, it seems most members hunger for the same things you do!
