A Couple of New Purchase
Bought these two coins at an Antique Mall in Hagerstown, Md. My first stamped coppers. The seller had them listed as Love Tokens, but I'm not so sure.
This first one is undated and has 3 letters stamped on to the obverse which appear to be "F D R". The "R" actually distorts the coin.

This second one is dated 1854 and has an "N" stamp on to the obverse with 3 rings. It has an "R" stamped on to the reverse. The right side of the "N" is tripled as are the rings/circles. Should probably be a single circle after the "N".

Maybe they are Love Tokens with someone's initials?
