    me thinks fake!

    doesn't seem to match up with any Noyes photos

    I think your right. Did you look at the hair, it doesn't look right. I wouldn't give him 50 cents for it.

    Look at 1825 N 9 and read the description.

    Dang, may be real. Has the square defect under the T in CENT! In that case it looks MS!

    But, as mentioned, the hair don't look right!

    I used John book when I check it the first time. I knew it looked like N-9. But like I said I don't like the hair. I sure it could be bad. They did a good job with this fake, except for the hair. The hair on John's coin and this one don't look the same.

    I wouldnt be so quick to label it as fake. It looks as if the hair has been re-engraved. I asked the seller about it. I'll post up should he care to respond.

    OK. That might be the case. It's good if is real. Re-engraved it's not for me. Have a good night every one.

    if re-engraved, thats some amazing work! My bet is its minted that way, probably in China. Computers and machines
    these days can make some amazingly intricate things, much more intricate than a coin!
