1835 N-9 with wrong reverse?
I recently purchased this 1835 at the Vegas show. It met all the attributions of the N-9 with the large 8 and ball-topped 3 as well as a well formed inner circle within the dentils from about 10 o'clock to about 3 o'clock. But, according to my resources, the reverse doesn't match. The leaf below F is wrong, at least according to my Wright book. Any ideas?
The obverse is correct for 9 and 1 as it is the same die. It looks 1ish to me.
Disregard...I didn't notice the O in ONE leaning to left which confirms the N-1.
I love the transitional patterns of the 1854-56 period. Great coin Guy! Thanks for the pic.
