I'm mainly an early date guy but since buying John Wright's book at the Portland EAC last year I thought I would venture into the middle dates on occasion when the right coin came along. Here's my first such excursion. The woodgrain toning on the obverse and the clarity of the reverse "double dot" diagnostic for the variety really made it stand out in my opinion. Chris' pics:
