OK, I will have to work on this some more.
Your well come. I hope it all helps.
On this Main Form go to page 6. You will find more on opening slabs. I also made a post on it.
Gary
I think you have a N-19. But you coin is so wet and shinny looking it's hard to see more of the details.
It looks to me that you have a N-23. Late die state d or e. The 7 is not leaning. It's corroded enough on the left top side of the 7 that just appears to be leaning.
It's a 1820 N-4. Looks like damage on the 0.

To help with the DRN, there are thing to consider here. It may change some though to life of the die. From die ware (die state) and lapping. So the DRN might shift some. Bob state this in his...
I still stick with N-15. It's so much easier to have the coin in hand. But N-15 or 13 good luck Frog. Have a good night.

This seller has had bad one in the past and he has had to take them down. I may have been wrong this time. I have 2, N-2 EDS (b) and I check my with his and he look like it's OK. I did like his...
Hi Pete
Frog is right on. It's a N-36. He did a great job of explaining what you see on this large cent. May I ask. What book are you using to attribute your large cents?
Gary
Sorry frog. It's a l not a i. Thank you for the heads up. I fix it so it's right know. I also check and he's still up. Check out his 1850 large cent, it a laugh and it's sorry that this junk is up...
Just to let every one know, that ebay seller lham9163 has got a bunch of junk up for sale again. Check it out. I wish ebay would bar him for life.
Gary
Yes! It looks like a late die state of N-15 to me. Nice fined.
Gary
Yes, it's a N-9.
Oh you may end up working on up grades and the always come alone. But when you said 1804 LC, that's my baby. I will keep mine until the day I die. If I sell every thing before that it will always...
No that's OK Steve. It may or may not have been a up grade. If it wasn't I would just sell it. Do you collect in die state also? If so, it will work for you. But if you just wanted it for the N-3 and...
OK Steve, I see you took it down. Did you decide to keep for yourself? Have a great weekend.
Gary
I have 12 1851 N-3, all in die state progression. I always looking for them to up grade the 12.

Later states of N-3 are some time hard to attribute. This may be one. It not cleat in the places were the late of the attributing marks are because dirt or crud. But it's not a real late die of N-3,...
Yes good job every one. There's one thing we all can wonder about, we really don't know how many large cent are returned after the buyer gets the coin and finds out it bad. You still lose money if...
I see that some times on ebay. Some people have more many then brains. Or should I say more money then reference books.
Any time Loupe79. I would like to know what seller said back. If said any thing at all.
You should be able to attribute it if you look in the right place. Try 1796 S-81 or S-82, for that's what this one really is or should be. Who ever did this, did not do a very good job make the...
Hi Frog
I would bring her in as a net 35. Might be better if I had it hand to see it. But very nice rare cud. I have 5 N-13 all in die state procession from early to late. But none as late as yours....
