Biography:

The focus of my collecting interest is mostly hard times tokens, although I do continue to collect half and large cent especially toward completing a date set of large cents.

I started like many as a youngster collecting Lincoln cents. In my late twenties I sold a modest collection only to return to coins again 23 years ago collecting early coppers. I was fortunate then to become acquainted with EAC and made purchased coins from several members, most notalbly from Chris Victor McCawley and Tom Reynods. I purchased my first Hard times tokens from Rod Burress in the late 80s and eraly 90s and that triggered an interest that has become my main focus.
