View Full Version : PCGS/ANACS On line coin registry system

I would guess most of you have heard of the coin registry system from PCGS. I think it would be nice to be able to see my coins on line without having to go to the safety deposit box. I used to just keep the coins at home and look at them all the time, but they now too rare and expensive to leave at home. Any advise would be helpful.

I participate in the NGC registry. NGC allows both NGC and PCGS graded coins in their registry, PCGS does not. I am not aware of any ANACS registry, others can correct me as needed. A very small portion of my collection (only two cent sets) are slabbed, so I still use the bank for storage of my old copper.
The OP might want to consider adding photography to his hobby list, it lets you keep pics to look at when at home. No, it's not the same as holding the coins themselves but it can avoid a few of those trips to the safety deposit box.

How do I join the groups? I tried to join the groups, but I do not know what to do. Do I need to be invited or what? Since I use the Library of Coins books; that group would be of interest. Help!

Well I listed my early collection 1793-1820 and I really like it! Now I have to list the other half. I have about 60 of them. This is a great place to put your coins. Thanks for all the help,
Steven EAC 6067
