I have 25 coins listed on ebay. I want to go out of town for 4 days. That means I can't ship in one day, so I lose
my Top Rated Seller discount, and about $150 bucks in fee savings per month, if a coin sells while I'm gone! I've talked to Ebay,
and they say there is nothing I can do, but delist my coins!
So I will. I'll pull them for 4 days, so they won't sell! But then EBay doesn't make money either.
Dumb! Many people use ebay sales for retirement income supplemenatation. Yet Ebay does not even let
me leave my home, without a potential penalty!!
PS I could print out the shipping label from out of town, but Ebay monitors when the Post Office scans my

You could use eBay's notification feature that would put a notice on all your listings that you are on vacation and in that notice tell anyone who does purchase an item during your vacation, not to pay for it until you are back home. This saves you a relisting fee. It may be a worthwhile small risk that someone would actually purchase and pay during your vacation.

Can You do. Do not pay till invoice is sent. Or, can note pay till invoice is send. But are invoices sent automaticity or can you have it set, there only send when you send them yourself. Have you check on these?

Invoices are not sent automatically but a purchaser or winning bidder will get a confirmation email from eBay with a "Pay Now" button. Many users will click on that button and receive an invoice, and pay it, and you can't stop this from happening. I find that if in your item description you ask buyers to wait for an invoice, only 50 percent or so actually do wait. There rest use the pay now button. But the vacation notice is placed near the top of the listing where the buyer cannot avoid seeing it. A statement in that vacation notice telling the buyer he must wait for an invoice should gain much more compliance. Nothing is guaranteed, however.

Vacation notice is only available if you use the Ebay Store option. And regardless if any warnings or features the seller selects, if the shipping label is not printed out in 24 hours, you can get dinged! (based on my phone conversations with Ebay)
