I have attached photos of an 1835 C2 M3.0. Note the extensive clash marks before both the throat and the face. In reviewing both Manley's and Breen's descriptions of the various die states of the 1835 C2 I don't see a description of clash marks this extensive even in their descriptions of the late die states. I also looked at the photos of C2s in the various Goldberg auctions and have not seen any with clash marks such as these. I'm just curious as to whether anyone else has an example with clash marks this extensive.335336 There is also a planchet defect under the wreath on the reverse.
